Christian teachings are suppose to help "guide" you on the right path. The path leads you to heaven. I don't go to church but I was confirmered. It's hard to understand the teaching unless you study it. There was no such thing as christians until years after Christ died. It was not final until the bible was made and known all through the world. People lived by it. In the bible it states that if a woman was not a virgin when she was married she could be stoned to death (stoned as in being tied to a post and people throwing rocks at her until she died. A painful way of going.) We do not live like that. What it really does is make people feel better for the bad things they have done.

I have a hard time believeing in GOD. If you want a better understand E-Mail me I will try the best i can do.

The purpose of christian teaching is to teach how the world was created and how the world is remaining spiritually. You are to be toght so you arent ignorant and learn something.

Are you a Christian?

Are you a Christian? Do you claim a faith in Jesus Christ? Do you know what that means and involves.

I find that many professing Christians have no idea what they are claiming faith to. I watch to see if they show the fruit of the spirit and all too often there is no real sign that the spirit is in them. Some would say that is an arrogant thing to say. Some think that is condemning and as Christians we are not suppose to condemn. John 3:18 tells us that if you don't believe you are condemned already. To ask that you show your faith in your actions, thoughts and deeds is not arrogant but asking you to prove what you claim.

Many today in church are not Christian. I have no problem in saying that because their actions bare proof. Don't believe me, listen to what they say and see if it matches to what the Word says. Do they love as Jesus loved? Do they live by the faith?

The single greatest cause of Atheism in the world today are Christian, who give Christ lip service but deny him by their life styles. That to an unbelieving world, they simply find that unbelievable. Think about that if you will, how could anyone believe what we as Christians claim when we don't even believe it enough to live it ourselves. How much more condemning can we be?

If you are a Christian and you are not living the faith that you claim, should you take a long look at what you claim and what is required of you. A lost and dying world is watching and they are judging us by our actions. What are our actions saying about us? Do our actions affirm our faith or do they condemn us?

In other words, if you claim to be a Christian, prove it.

Are you a good person? Can you pass this test?
Category: Religion and Philosophy

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

I think Jesus said it best.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19

To remind us that it is important to know that we all have the spark of divinity in ourselves. We need to know that we have a connexion with God, and we need to understand how this came about. If Chist were here, what would he be teaching--probably the same thing he did previously, with different parables.

It should be love

It should be to convey Gods love for you

It should be to show how to be Christ Like.

It should be to get to know the heart of God

Now what has it turned into? That is another question

God Bless
