I believe that if he is willing to get married in her catholic church, the priest will allow them to marry, but you know I am not sure. What she should do is go to the rectory and speak to the Pastor and ask him directly. Has her fiance indicated that he would possibly convert to a Catholic? There are so many questions.
Also, Muslims are very strict about marrying in their own religion, so have his parents shown their disapproval on this marriage? I would be very surprised if they didn't. Your daughter should see the Pastor of her church and find out now.

There is a Catholic litergy for getting married in a Catholic chruch for a Catholic and non-Christian....but if he is Muslim, he may not want to get married ina Catholic church...there number one rule is "There is no God but Allah" which conflicts pretty strongly with the Catholic rule: "Catholicism is the ONLY legitimate religion."

She has to get permission from the Catholic church for such, and many catholics do not believe it to be a sacremental marriage. (Heck, my stepmom is catholic and when she married my anglican dad there was still all kinds of hell to pay)
It would help if she is currently active in a catholic church and the Muslim man is willing to attend premarital counseling.
Ironically enough, Islam has no problems with a muslim man marrying Christians or Jews, and they are required to allow their wives to attend the church or synagogue of their choice. :-)

The Catholic Church allows marriage between Catholics and non-baptized persons.
You will have to get permission from the bishop. This is because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge you have ahead of you.
Make an appointment with your parish priest and talk to him about your situation.
With love in Christ.

it depends on the church and the priest. most require both to be catholic, and may not marry you if both are not. if they do accept it, they both may need to agree to raise their children catholic. i almost had a problem when i got married last year because my husband and his fam are catholic. i was baptized catholic but am not practicing. i had to prove that i was baptized catholic and we had to garee that we would raise our children catholic. they more than likely will have to go through marriage prep. classes. we had to even though we were together 7 years befoe we got married.

No! He has to be a Catholic. He will have to convert to have this happen, my dear. You have to be a practicing Catholic and go to religious classes, BEFORE you are able to walk down that church isle.

It is up to the church or the priest. I doubt that they would allow it unless they agree to baptize their children in the Catholic Church, he agrees to convert, and attend catechism and marriage classes.
