RICE
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

This can be a serious injury. And very painful. Don't push it. If you don't give it a chance to heal.. you can rupture your tendon. Then you won't be walking until after surgery and months of physio.
See a physiotherapist.
When you resume sports it's essential that you warm up /stretch very well before each game.
Good luck

yes, rest it, ice it compress it if its swollen and elevate it as much as possible. in other words, sit on the sofa with your foot up and a bag of frozen peas on your ankle . If you have to walk wear a tensor/ace bandage.
