why is my vein purple....?it hurts?

i fell yesterday and hit my foot on the table now the veine(vain?)is a weird blueish purple,why is that?im not worreied that my foots gonna fall off im just wondering why its like that.

sounds like you broke a blood vessel. It will heal on its own but takes time. Take some ibuprofen for the pain and keep your let elevated , it should be better in a day or two , if not contact your doctor.
