I always describe tattoos as feeling like someone is pushing their fingernail on your skin fairly hard and it is vibrating and hot. I know it sounds weird but it is the best way to describe it. As for your foot specifically, You will probably jerk! I did a ton when I got two on my feet. There are little nerves in your feet and when they are agitated you can't help but jerk. Your tattoo artist should know this, but make sure and voice your concerns. They should make accommodations for you. If they don't, turn tail and run because that is a sign of a bad tattoo shop. Hope that helps :)

take an mp3 player. And ask the tattoo artist to let you press down on your foot while hes tattoing you so you can lean into it. It will probably only take 20mins or so. And tats arnt tickelish ive had both my feet down. It was painfull but not tickelish! Also a good tattoo artists can predict when youll jerk.

Getting a tattoo is really painful. Being ticklish would be least of your problems. Believe me.

It really does not tickle at all.
I found what really took my mind off the pain was to watch the tattoo being done. I just thought the whole process was fascinating and to see what I had envisioned come to life was really a neat thing.
Best of luck!

I think you seriously need to put some more thought into your design. As for the pain I'm a counter 1-10 over and over again.

Take some Lortabs or some other type of painkillers or drink an alcoholic beverage. that will decrease the sensitivity of your skin.
