how to change the path during installation?

i have insalled commandos 3 earlier and erased it...but now when i am trying to reinstall it..it gets installed in C:\windows... and the game is not working...it tells it must be installed in the application direcory...in the beginning of the installation it is not asking for the path of installation..it directly starts doenloading in c:\windows... how do i change the path of installation...

There should be some option, something like advance setup. Most software asks where you want to instal. If this doesn't work. When you say erase, did you just delete the files or did you uninstall? Make sure it was uninstalled and not simply deleted.
