I want to get a room in another state but i also want to do something romantic. my budget is $300 what else can i get him that would be very romantic but not cheesy?

a weekend or a night away trip is so sweet. but $300 is not very much. i guess it really depends on where you live and what he likes to do. a weekend camping can be just the romantic getaway you want but if you live in canada and his birthday is tomorrow, its probably not the best idea. put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself what you would want more than anything else (even if it doesn't include you).
another idea: a coupon book for specific sexual pleasures for him to use at his disposal is a very cheap yet wonderful gift for someone

This sounds like a really fun question to answer but I'd like some more info about him. Is he a football kind of guy? A geek (like me)? does have have any hobbies?
If not anything else a batch of home made cookies is always a good bet. You probably think it sounds silly but when I got some from my girlfriend and I hadn't expected it, I was very happy.
