k, yea this is kinda weird but i click on the icon, open in and everything but it wont come up. it doesnt do anything. usually it takes like 5 minutes to open itunes, because its slow, but now after like an hour it still isnt wrking

I had that happen to me. I tried rebooting and when that did not work, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Have not had a problem since. You may want to try that.

It sound like:
The application has been removed
Or
The shortcut link has been broken
Go to:
Start menu
All programs
Itunes folder
Click start Itunes
If the application launches the shortcut you where using was broken. Simply create a new one from the Itunes icon in start menu.
If this is not the case then go to:
Control panel
Add / remove programs
Look for Itunes in the list
Ensure it is present
If so then the only thing I can suggest is that you re download the application. If the application is not in the list is has been removed.
You may also wish to double click the icon, then press alt + control + delete and see if the itunes application is running as a process. If it is there should be no problem however your system is running too slow.

you know what you should do a "disk clean" up or "disk defragmentaor"..<--something like that. My comp was slow & that helped mine...
