Yes they do, that is why Angel Lucifer could betray God... but Angels apparently are said to not have a soul, that is why Lucifer was jealous of humans.

I believe in Christ and what I am about to say may shock you.
Lucifer did not hate human beings!
Lucifer began to go against the mandates set forth for mans progress. Lucifer was given the job of watching over man-kinds progress. He thought our progress was to hard and he wanted to ease our burden. For example: if you teach a child of 3 to use a gun, how long before the child shoots somebody? In other-words - His plan backfired! Lucifer taught us things we were not ready for and he screwed up our natural growth by accelerating our progress. Lucifer became increasingly jaded and eventually began to rebel forcefully. He stuck to his decisions and defended his actions to the point where pride took over; thus, his judgment. And because God loves his children, he has been, what we might think of as slow to adjudicate.
You bet! Angels have free will.
I realize my explanation is different, these are complicated issues and sometimes the truth may not be what you expect; that should be no surprise to you by now. I am a truth seeker- I may very well be wrong . I'm just one of billions, humbly, in search for answers!
Peace.........

Lucifer was the highest angel next to God. He was asking the question why can't he be just as powerful and that is what got him cast out of heaven. He took angels with him that believed the same thing. God showed him his power.
Lucifer, now named Satan, hates humans for one reason only . . . . . the love God has for his creation . . . . . . humans are loved by God so much even though we sinned and even though we are not perfect he has made provision for us to still be with him.
Angels are other BEINGS that worship God. Human BEINGS are Gods creation. God is an entity or higher BEING.
God Bless

Yes, they do. Without free will it is impossible to either obey or rebel against authority, since the decision to do either is rooted in the self's will.
According to tradition, 2/3 of the angels remain obedient to the Lord. Only 1/3 have joined in Satan's rebellion. Free will abounds all around.

Yes, Lucifer made the choice to rebel against God and the other fallen angels (demons) also made that choice.

angels do not have free will in the way that we do.

He hates us because Jesus did not die for his sins, there is not forgiveness for him, no turning back, once they sin, they can never repent.
