how can a person in the US adopt a child from mexico

I'm not really sure, but I think the best thing to do is go to your local Mexican embassy or consulate or ask a lawyer that deals in international adoption. Every country has different laws so I think you should ask a professional that deals in adoptions from Mexico.

I'm not an adoption expert but I don't see why not. I mean people from the US adopt children from Africa, China, etc every day.I'm sure you would have to go through all the normal court proceedings. Good Luck.
