Lately I can't help but cry whenever I think about the afterlife. Is there one? I'm so scared to die because I don't know that that this is it, theres only one chance to live, I'm hoping that there is an afterlife and that don't end up being vapor or something. I beginning to question whether life is real, where did humans come from? Is there other humans out there, in different galaxies? I do I know that life isn't on big dream and that when I wake up I'm going to start over in a different world? How do I know that humans are real when I can't see life through another person's eyes?
I know I might sound crazy but I need to know what you guys think

PEACE! I like this question. It was sincere. Yes, there is an afterlife, but the path that you walk determines your outcome for the hereafter. I myself am islamic and to my acceptance knows this as the true religion. But it can never be seen like that by those whom chose to follow thier desires. To be scared of death is a thing that comes with life. That is normal. I myself don't fear death. I fear becoming an unbeliever in "my" path. In islam, it is the hereafter that the true life is. this life is just a brief passing. Though can seem it takes a long time. One day, you shall just think about it in the hereafter, and say to yourself, "Damn, that is why HE did that. life really is that short". But in all dure respect, it still is a long process. But can feel as one day when you choose to not hold onto things.
And to answer yourquestion if humans are real. Yes, we are real. But the definiton of "real" is subjective. You have many whom claim that they are GOD, they are supreme races, they are jesus in the flesh, etc. This is life. A normal thing, but never forget that one can be deemed as insane very easily for having such beliefs. Mental institutes bear witness to this truth. But you have to define what a human is. Is it just a vessel? Is it your soul? Is it by what you shall be judged by? Is this what I shall be when I die?
You will be surprised by the capabities of mankind. When you say that you can not see through the eyes of another, doesn't mean another can not. It all depends what you follow or what GOD wills. I consider that tresspass though. Depending. Humans can read minds, comunicate with the passed on, predict the future, etc. When I see psycics, I just laugh. Internally. But I just brush it off like, oh well. But humans are capable of many things.
What I suggest you do is start to read some books before you take the council of another. Read the bible(old and new testament), quran, i-ching, and whatever they have. I personally have read the bible, quran, and a book called "Living Religions". You would be surprised to what your beliefs can be directed to. And no, I don't take jesus as my lord. I take allah as lord.
But there is definately an afterlife. I can tell you to trust me, but for some that is not enough. Which is only logical. Allah is waaayyy more mercifull than most will conjecture. All you really have to do is follow HIS laws. And allah does the rest, which is much. HE shall show you HIS greatest gift to you, which is you and a word. And allah will always be the greatest.

That's exactly how I feel, except I'm not worried about an afterlife (I don't believe there is an afterlife). I don't believe anything is real, and I don't have a self, soul, or spirit. My beliefs are very comforting, even though it wouldn't seem like it. Here's something comforting also: if you didn't mind not existing before you were alive, then why would you mind after you're dead?
If I could have one wish, it would be to see life through someone else's eyes. And you're not crazy at all; I used to be extremely afraid of death.

This myth has baffled many a human being.Man never wants to die. He cannot think of his non - existence. Religions in the world has cleverly found out a solution called " after life" and this is the only way to exploit him and make him a slave to religions.There isn't any proof for life after.With death everything ends.
There is n't any proof for life in other planets as well.
You are not crazy.This is a genuine quest but you will never get a satisfactory answer.

I would seek God for answers, and he will give you so much more!
There is in fact an afterlife and we are all headed to judgment. the only way to get out of it is to have faith in Jesus!
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. -2 Corinthians 5:10

look at it this way. If you die and there's an after life, it's okay. If there's nothing, that's okay too, because oblivion is painless, in a way. After all, if you die and you don't have a soul, what are you going to do, sit around saying "Gosh, now I'm dead and there's no after life, well this just sucks."
