Well, I haven't bought any Chevy's since they dropped rear wheel drive, but Hyundai's suck, so Chevy wins here.

You should buy the Malibu. It is made primarily in America. Check with the dealer about where it was assembled. It should be on the sticker in the window. It can also be determined by the first # of the VIN. All VIN's that start with #1 are made in the USA. You are supporting Americans when you buy American products. If, for instance, you like having a job to go to...then buy an American car. In addition, about 6 months ago an impaired driver crossed the center line and hit my mother head on in her Malibu MAXX. The guy totaled the car and she walked away without a scratch.

The Hyundai, better build quality, better warranty, nice car. Although Hyundai cars had a poor reputation in the past, in the last 5 years or so their reliability and build quality ranks near the top with Toyota. Check out consumers reports or JD powers.

a Hyundai vs. a Chevy? You have got to be kidding. The Chevy comes with as good or better warranty and Hyundais are literally disposable cars, they have no resale value after they are paid for.

i don't like either, but i'm a looks person. i would never buy a hyundai b.c like someone has said, they're crap. chevy is better but if you're looking for good price and reliable, look at nissans or toyotas.
