am almost never serious. I tease, joke, etc. most all the time. Life is too short to not laugh through it. I was watching the tv show "Friends" the other day and saw how the funny guy "Chandler" was portrayed as undesirable compared to the cool one "Joey". Is this how funny men are perceived in real life?

In my opinion, I really like funny guys and usually humor is the trait in a guy that makes me like him a lot. I've liked guys before that don't even look that cute, but I liked them just because they were funny and made me laugh.

life has too many dramas, we all need to laugh sometimes... anyways having said that.. Funny guys are awesome.. I love them.. On friends, i love that show! Joey is portrayed as the cool one because he is suave... But chandler is funny!...... I dont think that is how funny guys are perceived in real life.. I dont feel that way.. I have always been attracted to funny guys. So... keep on being funny... now i will leave you with a quote that i always thought was wonderful.. Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death... now that was an quote from a movie, Auntie Mame.. in case ur wondering lol.. ciao!

I never thought Joey was cool; i much preferred Chandler... just don't always tease, joke, etc... there are times for being serious. Those who don't know you well may take what you say as a joke to heart and in the end may never know when youre joking or not sort of like when the little boy constantly cried out wolf and there wasn't one and then one day there was a wolf and when he cried out wolf no one believed him...

no. women like men that can laugh, and joke and play. as long as they don't go overboard. The writers of Friends were very careful to make "Chandler" funny without being a malicious sort. However, they made him an insecure sort, so he used his (really great) humor as his defense mechanism to ward off any uncomfortable situations. is that what you do? That might be what's hindering you, not the fact that you're funny...funny is good!!! :)

joey is the funny one chandler is the obnoxious arrogant one
depends if you're a clown and no direction in life then you belong in the circus
if you and balance being serious and intiuitve with humor and fun then thats gold

OMG i loveee to laugh and i love funny guys
i think it just depends on the girl
some girls like uptight, stiff, serious guys
and others like ones that always keep you laughing
i personally love it when i go on a date and i come back home at night and my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much

Personally from my experience I don't care how attractive a guy is if he doesn't have a sense of humor our relations will NOT last long at all!!!!!!! Good looks will get you in the house but a great personality and sense of humor will keep you there!!!!!!!

It depends, there are times to be serious, but I think you have a good attitude. Just be yourself and genuine and you will be fine. If you try to be someone different, that's when you are perceived without respect. Give respect and you get it...

No, fUNNY GUYS END UP WITH TE GOOD GIRLS BECAUSE THEY ARE EASY TO BE AROUND, EASY TO TALK TO, AND YOU CAN SIT & WATCH A COMEDY TOGETHER W/O FEELING LIKE "omg, HE'S GONNA PUSH ME INTO HAVING SEX".

No..not at all.
Funny men to me are attractive. But..I also watch a persons body language too. Body language, wild gestures, funny comments to me adds up to a man that is usually as wild in bed, as he is in his humor.....
