You may have a Fungus problem, and is difficult to treat. The OTC products, are a waste of time. There is a pill for this condition. The Podiatrist or your Family Physician can help you get rid of this.
You should wear shoes that "breathe". I had a friend with this. They wore white cotton socks. Plastic shoes hold in moisture and fungus grows easily.

depending on who you ask you may get different answers to this question... My answer... you may have an intestinal imbalance of flora, more specifically candida, the nail may soon become thick and more yellow, you may also get some other indications of this condition, like foggy thinking, mood changes, bad breath, pimples, headaches, discharge from genital area, weight gain, abdominal distension, bloating, rectal gas but very seldom all of them. Solution is easy, a protocol of colonics, probiotics and digestive enzymes.
