Actually it is neither since it is spelled toilet rather than toliet.

I prefer toilet tissues in print but can easily scream, "Hey, I need some toilet paper in here!" (When my man leaves the roll empty!)

It's toilet paper. Although, I did hear it called toilet tissue once and completely understood that, but was completely perplexed by how they had referred to it before that. I was about 16, working in a grocery store and an older couple approached me and asked quietly, "Excuse me, could you tell me where I can find the teepee?" At least, that is how I heard it and I just didn't know what to say. I had them repeat it three times and I still didn't get it until they finally asked for toilet tissue. I laughed, I had never knew that there were people too embarrassed to say "toilet paper" that they had to shorten it to TP!!!

Have you ever heard it called that?!!!!

Either is correct. For hoities in the toity they may prefer to say tissue rather than paper. In the country, we used to call it a Sears catalogue or a cob.

You can call it either. Most companies use the term "tissue" in their ads because it sounds softer.
