Why does God create?

An over-abundance of Love is the reason why He created us. He has called us into being so that one day we may share in His Divine Mystery.

It's couched in the dim mythic pre-history of the human mind. There is no proof. The idea comes from one of man's basic needs: the need for activity. We cannot contemplate a life in which nothing is accomplished or created. So we create it. God was created by man, not the other way around.

To collect a small amount of souls from a teeny dust mite speck of a planet called earth and burn the rest eternally I gather......
apparently the entire thing is devised so he can take great pleasure in seeing most souls who have ever lived suffer and burn forever....
I guess when that is done with his elaborate universal "soul" game just for earth,
He just sits around and watches the stars, in between looking in on how Hell is roasting, and reveling in the small amount in heaven who praise him.

I've often pondered this myself...especially when they tell us to 'praise" God in church...sometimes I wonder why it would be pleasing to an all powerful God to have some random minions on a speck of a planet praise him.
