Opinion - Is Islam more dangerous than Christianity?

This is a serious question, so serious answers please. And keep in mind that I am asking about the Islamic faith itself, not Muslims.

i so agree with zombie2. islam is taken as a threat on behalf of all terrorist. islam seemed to be doing just fine and getting along with the ppl before the terrorist came in2 the pic and proclaimed a new islamic way. see you will fine many of many of many Muslims who truely believe in real peace. i am Muslim and so is my family and husband. and we are just ONE FAMILY out of thousands who don't claim the same Islam of the terrorist. the terrorist have their own version of Islam; their own prospect of what they think Islam should be. and non believers of Islam have for 5 years now, fail to realize that not every Muslim thinks, feels, and or acts on the minds of the terrorist. true Muslims except other religions. such as my family, religion is a choice. WE ARE MUSLIMS...WE ARE NOT GOD...WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE A LIFE, A FREE WILL...THAT GOD HAS GIVEN. THIS IS GODS CHOICE. over more than hundreds of billions Muslims are around the world, if Islam is all terrorist damn near the whole world will die. Islam is the fastest growing religion, Islam is right behind Christianity. so my point is yes your asking about just Islam...well Muslims make the Islam. the Muslims who follow the God fearing rules of Islam anyway. Islam is not a threat it's only precieved this way. the terrorists took a war of our Prophet Mohammed .peace be upon him. and made it into modern time. if you look in2 the history of the Prophet Mohammed .peace be upon him. you will see that when the Prophet came to maddina along with the army Allah ordered the Prophet to let the ppl go. and the Prophet did and obeyed. this is in the history of our Prophet. so the next time someone tells you that in our Qur'aan we are to kill non Muslims...that was then and hopefully you read up on the history you can tell them "no your wrong. that's not what Islam is about. God(Allah) forbids murder. and their Prophet let the ppl go." Muhammed is not a prophet of war. this is what the terrorist want Islam to be. they want Islam to be about killing but the truth is that Allah has forbidden murder of any kind. hopes this helps

All religions are dangerous when fanatics get involved. More wars have been started over religion than anything else. Just read the Old Testament. The Israelites had to conquer the promised land after Moses led them there.

Christianity began because of Jesus Christ. He was beaten, put on a cross, and left to die. Then, Islam came a few centuries later because of a Muslim warlord named Muhammed. Muhammed murdered anyone that opposed Islam, and he was a child molestor because one of his wives was only 9 years old. Which religion do you think causes more destruction and violence?

Yes, Islam is easily the greatest plague upon humanity but Christianty is the trojan horse for Islam.

Islamic doctrines assert dominion through Jihad and creates powerful unity and groupthink.

Christian doctrines create very little unity but has successfully established itself as the moral foundation of western civilization.

Since Christiant morality IS morality, principles like "love your enemy", "turn the other cheek", "the meek shall inherent the earth" are the underlying standards that govern the western psyche and define the scope of our behavior.

As a means of survival, older civilizations didnt hesistate to wipe out an real and undeniable enemy. The reason is, they didnt have Christian morality as their governing conscience.

Would we be "policing" or "nation building" in the country of our enemies if we didnt have this absurd morality at core? Probably not...and we would almost certainly not have the left-wing love your enemy mentality.

The two are just opposite sides of the same coin. They're alike in all the ways that matter and both are equally as dangerous to the world since they are utterly incompatible with any other belief system. Either you belief as they do, or you are the enemy. There's no gray area. No wonder both religions have been the cause of so many wars.
