Do you girls usually give the boy your number, or you gave them unless they ask for it?

I'll give mine out if I know they like me but their to shy to ask.
but most girls want you to ask for it.
and make sure that if you ask for it you call it within a few days...cause that can really lower most girls self-esteem...and if your to embarrassed to ask get their myspace or screen name and get to know them through that...its way easier then talking on the phone

I don't give guys I don't know, my number. Even if I like him. I like to be cautious. I dont want a stalker later on, if things dont work out from my end. Who knows what kind of guy he really is?
I think a guy who asks for my number isn't really being sensitive.
Instead, why dont you ask her for her email address? or an IM address? So you can chat up first online, and then as you both get more comfortable, u both can graduate to phone.
U can ofcourse give her UR number, but dont bet on it that she will call. It would be a lil awkward. Girls usually like the guy to call first.

When I was single, I gave it out without them asking. That was when I was sure it was an ok thing. Now a days, I give my phone number to friends without a problem. They don't have to ask me for it.
I have also waited to see if he was intrested. If you are wondering why don't you just go ahead and ask her for it or give her yours? :D

Guys have to ask for it...and most girls I know won't just give it to anyone who asks, they have to talk to you and get to know you a bit first.
