Yes, and half the time..unless they're really really geeky...it makes them more popular just by being with a popular kid. If you like someone then go ahead and ask them out. If you've ever heard of "Never Been Kissed" One of the parts is that she becomes popular because someone who is already popular says that they're cool. And she was actually a total geek lol. I think it works better in the movies but you get the idea.

yes. and you should. that's a great way to show you've matured past the stupid rules that others have set up for you. and guess what? in 10 years? The currently "Unpopular kid" may be very much more popular than you can imagine, and no one will remember or CARE about school popularity. Keep in mind, life is short and friends are few and far between. If you meet someone that you've connected with, enjoy that, enjoy them, and don't let the other stuff get in the way.

Why not? Most of the popular kids grow up to be average Joe's. Trust me wait until you go to your class reunion and find out how most of the popular kids dont show up because they havent made much of their lives and the nerds looks good now and are making the big bucks.

All people are the same and popular kids are no better than ones that are not popular. I myself always could not stand the popular kids because they were so snobby.

Of course...besides, why the hell is being "popular" so important, anyway? Who really cares?
And, also what is the definition of "popular???" Because the way people make it sound, if you're popular you're better then everyone else. Well, guess what? You're not! So what's the big deal???

My God no!!! What can you be thinking? What if someone would see you? No way you can even suggest such an outrageous idea. Your popularity factor could drop thru the floor in seconds if you do. Let those unpopular kids stay with thier own kind before they ruin a hot kid like you!

In real life we are attracted to someone for a variety of reasons. There is a saying that love is blind. We cannot control who attracts our heart. Seldom do we say "I'm going to fall in love with the guy with the big nose, I will fall in love with the girl with big ears. When we are in love we seldom notice the"flaws" that someone else sees in our partner. We don't chose love, love chooses us.
