I cannot imagine how atheists can face a day alone. My Mom said that when I was a toddler in one of those bouncy seats in Sabbath School class I had a great interest in spiritual things already. While the other children would do other things I would lean forward and listen intently to what the teacher would say. It is a good thing I had early training because my Mom became ill and I lived with other people who were very emotionally abusive. In fact they changed my name while I lived with them from Mary to Maxine. When I left them at age 5 or 6 my name was changed back. It was very hard but I knew that in my heart I was not alone. I spent almost a year with my Grandma who taught me more and then spent the rest of the time back in the first home where things were even worse. I thank God so many times for my Grandma who gave me the tools necessary to face anything in life and that I was never alone because not only did I have the Godhead, I also had angels. I often wonder if I contribute anything to anyone at all...the other day I was feeling concern because I don't know what in the world would go in my obituary since I have never done anything fantastic or special. I told my daughter my concerns and she looked ever so sweetly at me and said, "You loved!". Wow did she make me feel valuable. It is then that I started thinking about the verse that tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and have at least one gift. I figured out that I don't have a lot of gifts but the one I do have is being able to see the good and value within each person. I learned it because God loves me even though I make mistakes and since He doesn't give up on me, what right do I have to give up on any other human being? I wish there was room to tell you all the miracles God has made in my behalf. It would be amazing. For me there is no other way but to have God in my life. Mmm

Im a Christian because Im a follower of Jesus Christ. I contribute to His Kingdom by being as close as possible to His ways. Sometimes one need not to be a super motivating story. All I know for example, because of the way I am, people, will at times ask for advice and seeing those kind of folks changing their ways makes my whole day.

Was saved when I was 9 , am 45 now, I came from a non-religious family, Dad drank, smoked, chewed, Mom smoke, drank, cursed, went to church on day because I was invited by neighbors and became saved, when I became 13, I began a long period of backsliding that lasted from when I was 13 tears old to 41 years old, during that time i spent 20 years in the Army from 1980 to 2000, My father died on Thanksgiving day 2001, shortly after, I snapped, for some reason, the scriptures made sense when they didn't before, I knew, I just knew, my wife, who has been a Christian for years and goes to church all that time, when I didn't., became a little jealous when I suddenly knew more about the bible then she did, why? I do not know, I am a security supervisor now in charge of 16 people, and most respect me, and my beliefs, though one of my men is an/a Wiccan, I try to set an example and show thatwhat the mainstream media says is wrong and taken out of context , my contrabution? setting an example for others, not perfect, but then again, only Christ was perfect,

there are countless church homes Down South that placed all their believe contained in the Bible, to some extent the position they don't extremely have a sermon on Sunday morning, yet quite a call of Bible verses presented one after the different via the preacher. distinct the congregation scrambles to search for each and each verse of their own own Bible, even as the preacher makes parallels between a verse contained in the former testomony and one contained in the hot. I attended a provider like this, and as a Lutheran become quite taken aback on the departure from what I knew. It turned right into a Church of Christ, and the preacher easily had an overhead projector the position the Bible verses were being projected. No elegance, no stained glass homestead windows, no amazing sermon via an suggested pastor, no regularly occurring routine of prayers stated via songs, no magnificent choir. No vestments, no fancy altar, no plant existence. That become all too a lot Bible for me, and not in any respect adequate "church."

A Cristian is one that follows Jesus the Christ (annointed) of God.

Jesus did the will of his God and father, he taught what is God and father instructed.

Anyone that clams to be a christian should follow the roll of Jesus and strive to do the will of God as Jesus did (Jesus did it perfectly no onw else doses but we should endrvour to do our best)

Anyone that clams to be a christian should be living their faith as Jesus did and the apostles did. Theri way of life would show that they were followers of Chist.

Anyone that clams to be a christian should be prepared to die for thier faith.
