I could smile at God and look over and see my mother standing next to me.

Well, I see the point you are trying to make, but that is not how it is.
God, in his infinite mercy, does every thing possible for his creation. So, no matter who you are, had a choice to believe or not. God does not send anyone to hell they choose to go by their actions.
On Earth I realize I have a duty to my family and all I come into contact with to be the best witness for Christ that I can be. It has kept me up at night wondering how I can broach the subject with various family members who remember me in my youth. But, forcing the issue does not help set the tone for a good discussion. I fast, I pray, and I weep for them, but only God can save.
However, once I am in Heaven that time will be over. I will know as I am fully known and if, and I rather doubt it, I think of my family not with me I will see them for what they are and I will not shed one tear for them.

My parents have their own choice on where they want to go, they know the truth! I lecture them sometimes but I cant force them to do what is right can I?
One of the things you seem to be forgetting is there is not going to be any pain or sorrow in Heaven. So your scenario is contradicting the definition of Heaven.
I will always smile at God even on my darkest days hopefully because I love him and he is the almighty. There is nothing more iimportant in life than serving him and knowing him. My parents get to make their own choices in life and they will pay the consequences for their own actions if need be.

Wow, you're just FULL of gloom and doom, now aren't you? If you keep thinking about all these horrible scenarios you're gonna end up suffering from severe depression and off yourself or something. Then it wont' be your mom roasting in hell, it'll be you.
So go have some ice cream, play in the rain, buy yourself a motorcycle, just whatever makes you happy......before it's to late!!!!

let me ask you the other way:
would you be jealous if your mother was in heaven and you toasted in hell?
could you deal with it?
Everyone makes choices. It's called free will. If people choose to go to hell, so be it. I would rather be will God.

I believe we will be changed and will know that God's judgment is totally fair.
This is one reason we Christians like to offer the way of salvation, so others will accept Jesus as Lord, and not go to Hell.

Hey everyone paves their own way to heaven..so the decisions you make will influence where you end up, God gives everyone the opportunity of choosing which way to go..Why should you be mad at him that someone you love couldn't get into heaven?

They're being purposefully calloused about this. I agree with you that the moral consequences of this scenario are horrible.
Somehow to be made "christlike" in heaven, is to have no empathy for people who are in eternal torment. Yet if they say a neighbor take a similar attitude toward people who died horrible deaths on 9/11 they'd brand them a monster. Their double standard is just gross.

How many times does this have to be explained? IF YOU GO TO HELL, IT WILL BE BECAUSE YOU CHOSE TO GO THERE! God has provided for your salvation, and in order to go to hell, you will have to climb over the bloody cross of Christ.

My family is saved, so we will be in Heaven together one day. We all make our choices, to accept Jesus and get Heaven, reject Him, Hell awaits.
