Evidence and proof
Sorry to disappoint you, but Evolution is a Fact and a Theory.
To make a long story short, evolution is the gradual change in a population over time and considered scientific fact. The scientific theory of evolution is the explanation of how evolution takes place, including mechanisms and processes
(Please notice the word "scientific" that I put)

No, the bible has been proven to be nothing more than Middle Eastern mythology. And frankly if I was going to take mythology as literally fact, I'd be more apt to follow Norse mythology.
That being said, you must not understand what a theory means in the world of science. A key factor to keep in mind is that the term "theory" is used by scientists in a manner different from common usage. For most contexts, a theory is just a vague and fuzzy idea about how things work - in fact, one which has a low probability of being true. This is where we get the complaint that something in science is "only a theory" and hence shouldn't be given a great deal of credibility. For scientists, however, a theory is a conceptual structure which is used to explain existing facts and predict new ones.
Evolution is both fact and theory. Biologists consider the existence of biological evolution to be a fact. It can be demonstrated today and the historical evidence for its occurrence in the past is overwhelming.

There is no evidence that the Bible is fact. That does not mean it isn't, merely that one cannot give a blanket statement declaring such. Evolution is a theory because all scientific postulates are theories, no matter how much proof there is to support them. "Survival of the Fittest". If another theory comes along and is better-suited to reality, it takes the old theory's place. The THEORIES of relativity. They are taken as fact. So is evolution, because it is, as of now, the fittest in the scientific world.
The Bible's existence is a fact, but the truth of its words may not be.

I looked in a high school biology book recently, and for an example of evolution, it told about a certain type of bird that is divided into 5 species, and when food is scarce and nuts are hard, the birds with the hardest beaks survive better. I didn't see where they explained how an animal with no beak evolved a beak.

your statement is false. Evolution is a theory which supports facts about phenomenon witnessed on earth.
The theory of how it happened may be a good point, but face the fact that it did happen.

The Bible is a collective work of literature, some history, some fiction, some philosophy, and lots of comedy.

The only kink in the evolution theory is that idiots like your parents weren't supposed to breed more idiots.

How do we know the Bible is a fact? Because it says it's the word of god. Well yeesh...I guess if IT says it's real it must be. *eyeroll*
Show some evidence that your god or your bible are valid and then we can talk. Until then, it's a book of fairy tales, and your god is your imaginary friend.

The fact is that the bible is an edited book. You can only read what they want you to read.
