ok so prom is less than 2 months away and i haven't gotten a date yet and i'm pretty bummed out..theres this one guy i wanna go w/ but i don't want to ask him cause i already asked this one guy out and he rejected me (for one of my friends, what a jerk) and i'm afraid to be rejected again..how can i hint around to this guy to let him know i'm interested in going w/ him?

Ask him. You honestly have nothing to lose if you decide to ask him. You know why? Because you might end up spending so much time to hint to him that you want him to ask you- that he might end up finding a date or you might miss your chance. It's best to know straight forward and in a blunt fashion over playing games with it. You really dont want to miss out- and if he says no then you'll have time to think of any other date possibilities.
If he says yes- then you win.
Don't over think it and dont fear rejection. You wont get as far as you want to be if you hesitate and fear rejection.
Males arent so difficult so all you'll need to do is explain your situation and explain that it is difficult for you to be asking him, but it is something that is important to you. Then just see what happens.

Well you were rejected once and your still alive so ask this guy also. Ask him who hes going to prom with and if he says he doesn't know then ask him. If he has a plan already then oh well, at least you asked. Honestly, I found its easier to go with a friend to prom because all of the couples I ended up going with got in fights. I had a kick *** time with my girl.

first off, don't freak out, there are still two months left, it is still a little early for people to start asking. now about the guy. if he is a friend, just hang with him more, but don't be clingy. and why not ask him. the other guy was a jerk and doesn't appreciate who you are. there is nothing to prove that this guy will say no. and chin up, maybe someone else has there mind set to ask you.

What's the point of being scared of rejection? So, he either likes you or doesn't. And if he doesn't, then you know, right? Take the risk, and if he likes you, it was worth it. And if he doesn't want to go with you, why would you take it personally? Just means he either likes someone else or he doesn't think of you that way.

Since this is not a boyfriend, you should ask him if he is willing to be your escort. Since Prom is an expressive affair make sure that you tell him that you do not expect him to pay your way, just be your arm decoration and you will be his are decoration.
