What if your system for playing them and is there a way to find out their odds?

the odds are posted on the back of each scratchoff. I play one ticket at a time until I win. Then stop. Don't buy a roll or multiple tickets at a time, it ruins the odds. Just accept that you lost money if you do and in the end you will end up ahead using this method. I did not test it scientifically but I am WAY ahead of the game using this method...if that helps.

it varies from state to state - in NJ there is a link online that tells you how many of the top prizes are still available for each current lottery scratch off game - the system would be to not buy the ones where the top prizes are already gone other then that cross you fingers and scratch!!! LOL

Look on the scratch ticket. It says what your odds for winning a certain amount of money such as $1 or $10,000.
