Why or why not?

Personally, I wouldn't want to lead them on.

No. Attraction does lie deeper than just outer looks...If there's 'something about the person' I'd say go for it. Sometimes there's something there that you are picking up on but cannot understand just yet. That's what happened to me and I'm very in love with him now.

Yes, I think I'd go nevertheless. It's not just about the looks you know. Perhaps there is something else about the person I already like? Maybe his sense of humor, or his intelligence, or his being just a good man. Attraction is very essential.....but attration isn't always about looks. For me, it's sort of like a deep attraction that has more to do with his other traits, and how we gel together. Now if I am completely turned off with him, or feel like I am getting a bad vibe from him, and cant bring myself to think of spending an evening with him, then yes I would avoid that date.

I would because by opening your mind and accepting something as a date you might grow to like this person and meet someone new and fantastic that you could have missed out on!
but then again if it doesn't work out it will be painful for the other person!

I wouldn't go out on a "date" with someone that I wasn't interested in. I may go out to lunch with a friend but usually in this situation you don't think that it's anything more than lunch. If I did think that they had other intentions I wouldn't want to give any false hope.

Off the top of my head I would say no... but I met this guy, we became friends over about 6 months, and then we grew to love each other and have been together for over 2 years. He is the love of my life. I'm not saying that this is always the case, but you never know.

I would not accept a date from anyone I was not interested in period. It would be cruel to lead them on and letting them think something that was not true, and it would be wasting both of our time! I need to be true to myself!! Plus I am cool with hurting anyone on purpose!

Well I might if i was in a pissed of mood. But usually i would say yes because if you don't go on a date with them you would never get to know them and then later on you might of regretted your answer.

you can give a friendly fun date just to give it a shot sometimes you wont see whats in front of you and if it is far from what you wanted just be honest after and let them know that you dont feel that kind of connection
