Make sure that the products you are using are pH correct, which is so important to your skin. Our skin is natural about a 7.0 on the pH scale from 1-14. Most bar soaps or anti-bacterial soaps have a higher pH, which helps them to foam and gives you that squeaky clean feeling. People with oily skin especially like this feeling as it dries up and removes a lot of the oil from the skin. The problem is, in oily skin people whose skin already produces more oil than they need, by removing so much of the oil from the surface of the skin, the oil glands are sent a message to produce more oil and it becomes a viscous cycle of over drying the skin with high pH cleansers and the skin trying to defend itself by producing too much oil. In people with a dry skin which does not produce enough oil of its own, using a high pH cleanser such as soap only further dries out the skin. The oil on the skin is there to protect the skin from the environment and helps to combat aging. By using a pH correct product such as Arbonne, you are not sending your skin to extremes but instead are keeping it well balanced.
I would recommend the ARBONNE intelligence line for you. It self adjusts to your skin needs. The line also has a specialty product called a "personalizer"...it is designed to be applied before you moisturize. It helps to absorb the oil as it forms, and it keeps your foundation true to it's color. It can be re-applied over your foundation. Runs about $35.00

I do not have an acne problem.
I use Oxy Daily Cleansing Pads for SENSITIVE SKIN.(not for acne!)
These seem to have the perfect amount of alcohol in it.
It does not dry my skin but it does take care of the oil.
I use it in the morning directly after I shower and because I do not wear make-up I use it once or twice more during my work day with no issues.
I find that one jar of pads last me about a month so that makes it affordable as well.

See, for all problems relating to the skin, be it acne, pimples, or oil.....the only best way of curing them is washing ur face regularly...especially in a country lik india, because there is so much humidity and all..tht we sweat a LOT...which leads to oily skin and skin problems...trust me, wash ur face 3-4 times a day, and see the result urself in a week. Hope it works!

You need to list all other products your using on your face. I would suggest using something that has cucumber in it like.. Olay, Dual cleaner and toner. ANd then appyling.. neutrogena oil-free moisture combination skin lotion. Also, to help with break outs.. You might try tanning.. But be careful as it can be addictive.

Its a home remedy and costs nothing.
Apply either lemon or tomato juice to yr face and let it dry --- then wash it off with warm water and finally rinse yr face with Cold water.
It is all the more effective if u wash ur face with besan or chickpeak flour --- yellowgram flour.--- once or twice a day.OR use fuller's earth/multani matti to wash yr face.

HI....your problem will reduce gradually, if you use MULTANI MITTI(fullers earth) mixed with rose water/plain water , twice a week on regular basis. And to fix your problem immediately, do carry boronip powder in your purse and apply it the moment you feel oil on your face.
