Just anything that you don't have to chew much for the first few days.
It really depends on how the extraction goes. If your widsom teeth are all out and reletively straight it usually heals pretty quick. But if they're still under the gums or impacted badly it can take much longer.
When I had mine out I just drank protein shakes, had soup, anything soft for the first three or four days. I was able to eat most normal stuff after this but it took a while before I could handle harder stuff.
Pretty much anything that doesn't require hard chewing. Meal Replacement shakes are great because they have lots of calories, vitamins/minerals, and a balanced amount of carbs, fat, and protein plus you just drink it down without chewing. I'd suggest you go to a nutrition store and pick up a box of those.

AVOID alcoholic beverages
AVOID greasy foods
AVOID high acidic foods and drinks such as tomatos, orange juice, etc....
Eat soft foods. No chips, pretzels, peanuts, etc.... Stay away from crunchy, chewy or small hard foods, to avoid food particles becoming lodged in the socket. Suggested foods are clear broth, pasta, potatoes, yogurt, baby food, smoothies, pudding, cream of wheat, 7up, Ginger Ale, apple juice

I was just going to tell you baby food, but it seems you've already found them. When I had my wisdom teeth removed I ate mostly spaghetti-Os. Ensure supplements are good to use. I also ate yogurt at room temperature, thin soups that aren't too warm. Applesauce at room temperature and tomato soup. Nothing too warm, hard, or anything that you suck on.
I'm not sure If you've had an actual below gum surgery or not, but you need to be very careful, as I'm sure you know. Good luck, and you will certainly not regret doing this in the long run.

I wanted my favorite food - spaghetti - so my Mom ground it up in the blender till it was mushy so I could eat it. Tasted exactly the same. You just have to use a little ingenuity. Do NOT drink anything thru a straw, it will pull the blood clots right out of the sockets

okay so you just had your wisdom teeth extracted okay best way to go is to avoid hot and spicy foods for the first week to avoid triggering the extraction site area, cold foods is okay like ice creams, yougurt and other cold foods, also when drinking avoid using straw coz this might invite negative pressure to that extraction area. if your experiencing pain you can take some over the counter pain meds like tylenol or motrin or ibuprofen coz this drugs is good not only to subside the pain but its also anti inflammatory. every morning or if needed try to do the lukewarm water and salt rinse, this is good for your gums so it will heal fast. hope this piece of advise help you. if you still have questions please dont hesitate to contact your dentist..till here take care and good luck

soft stuff for about a week.
first day, creamed soups with nothing needing chewing.
second day you should be able to tollerate noodles...
Its advisable to avoid tomato sauces, tomato juice and other acidic stuff for about 3 days.
Don't use a straw to drink as the effect of sucking the liquid up reduces pressure in the mouth. The higher difference from blood pressuer can eject the blood clot from the tooth socket.

In addition to the foods you've already mentioned, I tried oatmeal, yogurt, mashed potatoes, string cheese & the occasional Jamba Juice (eaten with a spoon).
