How do we learn to achieve a world of peace, where we all strive to reach one common understanding?

Its never gonna happen liberal. Human beings are evil. That is why Jesus had to come to save us from our sins. If you want peace Im afraid youre going to have to make it to Heaven to attain it!

Here is my analogy:

The USA, is made up of 50 countries (states) and each state has forfeited a portion of its autonomy in order to be a part of a larger concept, in which protection can be found; relative peace!
Ohio cannot declare war on West Virginia. Grievances go through the federal government. This is why we have no wars within our borders.


A similar body must be formed for the world, ( the united nations) as an example. And every nation must belong, no accept-ions.
And all nations must agree to a set of rules, i,e

1-Equal rights for women
2-Equal rights for children
3-etc..

The separation of church and state for the whole world.
We do not need organized religion at all, and I am a Christian.
One world Language is also important, thats not to say we do away with all other languages, just choose one; so we can all communicate better. This will create less suspicion.

Wouldn't be nice if the world could put aside there spiritual beliefs just long enough to reach some common grounds.
It can be done, however, not as long as you have one bad apple ruining it for the rest of us.

I believe that if everyone would communicate with each other with an open mind and heart we would have a much better chance of achieving peace.

I think if people are happy through their own means, people will be a lot less pissed off and then things would start to get better. So I would say make sure people know how to make themselves happy.
