Use what you have and decorate by creating a garden with different kind of bugs (dragonfly, ladybug and even firefly-get blinking x-mas light to make the special effect when you turn the light of the room) add a transition effect by adding a pond by adding this pond you can incorporate other creatures such as frogs, cranes, and fox tails etc., the next transition will be adding a few farm animals in the background and a barn setting and your kids room will be complete all the way around
Have fun...

I am going to have a tinkerbell room if we have a girl. Since they are sharing a room you could do a peter pan room. with the movie coming out next week Im sure it would be easy to find peterpan stuff right now, and tink is everywhere. your son would probably love it once hes sees the movie. I think the dragon flys sound cute to.

I paint nursery paintings of paintings as an ingredient-activity, and that i've got painted a ton of boys' bedrooms. this is my suggestion: a million. %. a topic matter which you will no longer become uninterested in after a 300 and sixty 5 days or so. 2. %. a topic matter based around your crib bedding. once you paint your partitions, carry on with a unbiased or muted tone. in case you prefer to do his room in blue, you're extra acceptable off sticking with an exceedingly easy blue/gray. in case you prefer green, carry on with a heat sage. the reason of it fairly is that as quickly as they outgrow the nursery subject matter, the wall color can proceed to be a similar, and all you're able to do is replace the acessories. My all-time fashionable nurseries that i've got painted have been: Nautical subject matter (with sailboats, seagulls, ocean, lighthouse) Surfer Boy subject matter (a palm tree growth chart in the corner replaced into the room focal factor, coastline tones with surf decor, previous "woody" stationwagon) Bi-planes (steel blue with rust orange accents, and a sky on the ceiling... diverse and gorgeous) wish this all helped slightly! :)

Almost any Disney theme will work--Winnie the Pooh, Disney Babies--or regular Disney characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc.)

When I was little the theme in my bedroom was Noah's Ark. It was really cute and it had cartoon animals in boats. I thought it was cute. And they will both love it.
