would you tell someone if their fiance was cheating on them, even though it could ruin the person who is doing the cheating financially.

If I knew that someone was cheating on my friend, I would tell them. I would hate to see my friend enter into a marriage without knowing what is going on. My friends deserve more than that. So yes, I'd tell. I wouldn't be happy about doing it, but I would feel horrible keeping it to myself and then having it come out later and having my friend upset with me for not telling.

Absolutely! Is the innocent party your friend? You can't let a friend get married to someone you know is ALREADY cheating on them! Telling him/her will be painful and uncomfortable, but if you don't and she/he finds out later that you knew (and they eventually will) they will be so hurt that you let them marry knowing what the truth was. As far as the cheaters finances... he/she made the choice to cheat, the consequences of their actions are their responsibility - not yours to worry about. Tell the innocent one the TRUTH, BUT and this is an important BUT, make SURE the fiance is cheating before you say anything.

Yeah, but why is your hang up on telling them financial? Do you have a stake in the cheaters finances? If not than go for it. If you know and don't tell 'em your really just as wrong as the cheater. It all comes down to betrayal, huh?

i wouldn't tell them! i would put a letter on her car or get somebody that doesn't know them to call and tell them. that way you don't have to get involved, and they won't waste their time.
