Why are most guys so short?

Question

I'm not tall...I'm just a little over average height for a femme. Also, I'm way past growth spurts. Don't assume that I'm young b/c I asked this question. I get tired of getting approached by guys who are like... 5'9" and I like tall men.

I hear you gymnast, but height is important to me b/c I want athletic kids, plus, people can't HELP what they're attracted to. If you told me you wouldn't be attracted to a man with carrot red hair, I wouldn't knock you about it.

i know what you mean. I am 5'9" not ridicously tall, but definitely above average. And all the tall guys seem to be taken by really short girls.....hmmmmmm.
But actually, my boyfriend right now is only 5'7". And I really dont care. He's not that much shorter than me, the only time I even notice is when we are standing or walking. It was a little bit strange just because I had this preconceived notion that I wanted a tall guy....but I wouldn't trade him for the world.

well in my opinion, 5'9 is pretty tall. dont be so conceited. no one can control how tall they r. u should judge a person by their personality....not their height b/c im pretty sure that if "short guys" had an opportunity to be taller, they would take that chance. height has to do with genetics and heredity...that is y some guys r short...

Because you are either tall or you haven't seen a tall guy but there are tall guys in the world I mean I'm pretty tall, I'm 6'1.

well guys and girls grow at a different rate. guys grow till like high school and stop for a while. and thats wen girls get really tall..
