I have heard this many times on here. I am not looking for rude answers just some real thinking here, from Atheists, theists, well whoever all to which I respect. Think about this. If God is the creator, which I do believe so Christians calm down (we are our own worst judges), the fall of man happened, the world needed saving, he sent his son.

Now many people say they don't believe b/c they need to see it to believe it. If you see it there is no need for your BELIEF, right?

I wasn't here when Jesus walked the earth, God knows I wish I were. But even seeing the miracles, people still didn't believe.

The main question is however God sent himself in holy sacrifice for your sins, he shows himself all the time. This was already done and will happen again. Does anyone think they have just turned their heart so cold to the possibility that they can't see it? We create . . music, art, etc. It doesn't evolve out of us. Why couldn't we have been CREATED? He is coming back.

I think God not showing himself "phsically" kinda goes along with the covenants between God and man, ending in Jesus's gift to us.
Now it is up to us without the intervention or "hand" of God to live by his laws.
But it would be nice to have him around for a visit, that would be cool.
I am finnally for once acually reading the whole bible for the first time and have been told i have "blind faith" but i have felt God's help a few times. He saved my life once(maybe more) and has been the leading factor in those around me who have pulled me through some really tough times.
Some people say " how come som1 does not need god until they have failed in life so bad...etc etc"
My answer to that would be "it wasnt the failure, it was just realizing how the longer we turn our back on him the worse things get in life". When we are failing so bad that some consider taking their life they might ask god why he is doing this to them, but if they know about him, its not him doing it to us, we are hurting ourselves when we turn our back on him.

You make the same error atheists do. Atheists dont disbelieve because of what is or is not in their mind int he form of proof. Have you not read Romans 1 that states we are all responsible for knowing Gods existence through nature? No, atheists deny God because of what is in their hearts. Also do you happen to recall Luke 16?

'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent. "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead -Luke 16:30

Atheists would rather doubt their senses than see a miracle or bend their knee to God. they deny him based on what is in their hearts, not their minds.

Also God doesnt show himself here because this is not his home, it is a vile place full of sin. This is Satans home.

"I will believe if God will appear to me."

A proud and ignorant sinner who says this has no understanding of the nature of His Creator. No man has ever seen the essence of God. (When God "appeared" to certain men in the Old Testament, He manifested Himself in other forms, such as a burning bush or "the Angel of the Lord.")

When Moses asked to see God’s glory, God told him, "I will make all my goodness pass before you,...[but] you cannot see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live" (Exodus 33:18–23). If all of God’s "goodness" were shown to a sinner, he would instantly die. God’s "goodness" would just spill wrath upon evil man. However, the Lord told Moses, "It shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by." The only way a sinner can live in the presence of a holy God is to be hidden in the Rock of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4).

You're right, seeing is not believing. God said when I return will I find FAITH on the earth? He wants people to believe His WORDS not just the "proofs" they so ardently desire. It is insulting to tell someone - I don't believe what you say, prove it. In effect you have just called that person a liar. And so many say that very thing to God Almighty. But God in His mercy and wisdom continues to "prove" it everyday and still people refuse to believe. Jesus is coming back and sooner than any of us realize. I hope we are all ready.

Jesus didn't talk about coming back in the future.
He said don't look here or there, the kingdom of God is within you.
Please stop waiting and get on with it.

If God spoke to them it would not change what He has already done for them, so if they do not accept Jesus' atonement for their sins from the Word they shall never accept it.
