Shrimp will last a very long time at 0 degrees F ( -17C) BUT if you plan on holding in your home freezer only about 3 months for best results. BECAUSE the freezer door being opened so many times the TEMPERATURE is constantly rising and falling which drives out the moisture from the frozen shrimp and you get that freezer burn situation very shortly.

I would keep them no longer than 3 mo.After that they can lose some of their flavor as well as pick up freezer tastes.

If you leave the tails on and put it in proper packaging it can last for a LONG time. If it's just in a box then compare when you bought it with the expiration date for a feel of how long it'll last
