I have the same problem. If you are using a tanning bed, get a bronzing lotion from the salon and start very slowly, about 6-8 minutes. Some people really can't tan, but that worked for me. If you are going outside, use a low sunblock, like 8 and stay out for about a half hour at a time until you find how long it takes you to tan and not burn. That's what worked for me. Good luck!! To get rid of a burn, you just have to wait.

You must have very fair skin. If that is the case you will always burn when you are in the sun. If you do burn, aloe creams can help with the sunburn, but time is the only thing that will heal them.

Now, regarding fair complextions and burning, too much sun exposure is very dangerous and can result in several types of skin cancer, one of which, melanoma is extremely dangerous and if not found early, will kill you. I used to get burns as a kid and was diagnosed with melanoma four years ago. Thankfully it was caught very very early. My advice is to avoid the idiots who think tans are cool and wear SPF 30 or better when you are in the sun.

dont know if you know this but just tanning is harmful to your skin. Every time you burn your damaging your skin. You also put your self at risk for skin cancer. but to answer your question your skin will always burn after being burned so start using a good sun block. My answer comes from experience. i burned really bad about 15 years a go on my back and i still burn really bad.

Tanning is sun damage. Burning is worse sun damage. Keep it up & youll look like shoe leather in a few years with plenty of skin cancer to remove.

You must be fair skinned. Yes you will always burn unless you use a strong enough sun-screen. Don't use anything with a lower number than SPF15.

You must make sure you do not burn. Do not stay in the sun very long at first (if you use a tanning bed, use lotion and limit your first few visits to 5 minutes.) You must always use lotion.

it can take years to adjust to that depending on how fair skinned you are. i used to burn until after 20.... tho i still do in places like miami, etc..

u cant really get rid of a burn quickly, but aloe vera gel helps w/ real aloe - not the drugstore fake kind. go to whole foods or similar and they sell real aloe gel.

Try wearing sunscreen so you don't get a burn at all. Or do you want melanoma?
