Depression has different effects on each person. Some of my symptoms were headaches, body aches and being tired all the time. I became very angry over little things because my depression was coming from suppressed feelings of anger.
The best thing to do is find a therapist you can talk to. You will never regret that decision. Good luck!

In addition to what everyone else said, depressed people can have trouble w/ concentration and thinking. That's the side effect that is the most frustrating for me. If you're depressed, it's vital you seek treatment asap. The longer you delay, the worse your symptoms can get. I wish I had gotten help sooner. Then maybe I wouldn't have so much trouble thinking and communicating my thoughts.
