i've been the new girl in my Christian highschool for 6 weeks. everone tells me how pretty i am, stuff like: 'what big eyes', or 'you smile like julia roberts', or 'u look like a barbie'. i don't feel pretty. im single, and i don't want to be. but i feel like boys represent an open flame, and i represent a small child seeing fire for the first time. i want to get close to the fire, but every time i do i get burned. after getting burned a few times, i've learned my lesson about fire. how do i overcome this? how can i tell if a guy likes me? and what kind of guy is most trustworthy? bad boy? shy guy? goofy guy?

Stay away from the "bad boys". They call them that for a reason. Sure, they're often the most popular, but they are also often the most self-serving. My advice is simply become a friend to the boys at school who you have some commonalities with. They are not near as likely to take advantage of you in the long run. Maybe one of those friendships will become something more, maybe not. At least you will always feel good about yourself. Remember, boys your age are little more than 160+ lb bags of walking hormones. It sounds cliche, but it's true. Don't ever let a boy try to talk you into something you don't feel comfortable doing, or may regret afterward.

If a guy really likes you he will always be by your side, he might not show that he likes you (you know give those compliments) but inside he really does, sometimes it's even your best friend and you don't even notice it, and I think that the shy guys are most trustworthy I mean I'm a shy guy and I know I'm very trustworthy, everyone, all my friends trust me with their problems.

The only way is to be is be sensir and direct. And shy boy would be less problematic than bad boy. Bad Boys you can't make them good. But shy ones, you can make them bad as you want.

First of all, be yourself at all times. Second, there is not a magic wand to tell you who is a nice match for you. But i would be selective based on their understanding of moral values, honesty and family since family lays the very basic foundation on which our personality is built.

it's not how he acts(goffy, bad, shy)it's how much trust you to have with each other is he been you friend forever always with you or every once in a while he comes with you to party but if you really want one of those bad,shy or goofy i would chose goofy cause he is always trying to make you laugh
