my parents are dead againts me joining the military, because they are afraid i will be send to war, and die. But to me its, like i probably will die and thats the way life is, so why worry about it, because it is what it is. But my parents don't understand that, Idk how to explain that to them.

Im not afraid of dying. I think its better to be in control of your destiny rather than worrying about the what ifs and holding back on something you want to do. But if its going to ruin your relationship with the people you love the most, its definately worth a long talk and some serious thought. good luck.

Until you become a parent you will never understand this. I am with your parents on this one how old are you? you seem awful young and there is a lot of dreams that your parents probably have for you like getting married making them grandparents seeing you become successful and happy. not dead
