I have a 97 Nissan Altima and when I turn my car on all of my dash lights cut off except for my brake light and my battery light. Im thinking that a sensor or whatever controls both of these lights needs to be replaced. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

It is sensors which are giving the indication. First, check the serviceability of all your fusible compnents. Then check charging system function( free at many service centers. Just ask), then check your brake fluid level. If the brake fluid level is low, it is indicative of worn brake pads, or leaking brake system hydraulic components including the master cylinder or wheel cylinders. Don't just replenish it without checking brake system frictional components either. It is normal for brake fluid to displace worn brake pad frictional material. When the pads are replaced, the fluid is returned to the reservoir as the calipers are compressed, so do not replenish brake fluid first.
