Migrains are a neurological problem and are best handled with medication. It is hard to believe that you are having normal migrains everyday. You may have been misdiagnosed or you may have a more sierious condition.
One of the best medications on the market that is safe to take, in most cases, is Imatrex. It comes in a pill form and in a shot form. The pill takes longer to kick in but is less expensiva nad covered by most insurance. The shot, however, is not.
As far as how frequently you are expieriencing pain. You should try to reduce the stress level in your life and get an appointment with a neurologist. They will be able to do a scan of your brain to see if there is an underlaying problem.

Working with a chiropractor (to make sure there is not an 'other' compounding factor) is smart.
Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.
Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.
The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).
For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

I have suffered with severe migraines for 11 years (and I am only 22) before my eye doctor sent me to a specialist (that's right my eye doctor sent me, my regular doctor never gave me a referal) After seeing a specialist I was prescribed a blood thinner to take daily which greatly reduces my migraines and they also gave me a presciption called Imitrex for when I do get them. It is a fast acting pill. The only negative side effect for me was the fact that Imitrex can cause pressure in your neck and shoulders which will last like 15-30 minutes. It can be very uncomfortable, but it gets rid of the migraines. Check with your doctor about this medicine.

If you have migraines almost every day and the 2 medications you were given aren't helping you need to go back to the doctor for testing

I have heard that certain foods can trigger it, maybe do a journal of the foods you eat and see if anything in your diet could be hurting you. Ginger root (found in the produce section) can be seeped in hot water to make tea, which might help for a home remedy. I'm really sorry for your pain.
