i lost my baby long time ago because i went to prison for a crime i never commit. i have looked long and hard for him. i am part deaf and i don't know what else to do. i have a link call reunion.com and i paid for it already. it doesn't show kids his age. i'm desperate. i never give him up. it has been almost 6 yrs now and his name is not in file on medical records.
just tell me what i should do besides going to court. i do not have money for that.

Go to clerk or courts or go to social services and demand your son back.
Most likely a kin relative or foster care got the child.
You are rehabilitated and need answers.
Get them fast, the clerk of courts should know and it shouldnt cost you anything.

did you give up parental rights? If you did then the child was more than likely placed in a pre-adoptive foster home and then adopted by those parents. If you did not give up rights then, depending upon the circumstances of your incarceration, there should be a portal for tracking him. Was there a relative placement initially? how old was he when you went to serve time?

Go to the local social services offices where you were before you went to prison and ask them what happened.

I wish I knew what to tell you...My heart goes out to you....but without knowing more about the situation I just can't (in good conscience) offer any advice beyond what you have already tried and these good folks have already answered. best of luck to you in your search.

there are free lawyer help person like you. I got help for my sister.Call social services ask them about free lawyer.Good luck.
