I mean, dont you think religions, in partcular Islam and Christianity are going to eventually die out? how long do you think this will take? and to all you Christians and Muslims who reckon their religions are eternal...get with the program, nothing lasts forever...I am sure the people of the religions of old, thought their religions would last forever too.

i think they will both last forever, their followers are just so strong in their faith, which will pass on to following generations, i don't think the religions themselves will die out but i think alot of the fundamentalist beliefs will, the world will progress towards world peace in the future like said in the bible and Nostradamus this is all due to the coming of the anti Christ, then the truth of which one of the two biggest religions in the world had it right all along.

A religion only "dies out" when it is no longer able to provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment to it's followers. Most people have a great respect & love for their religion and it is highly unlikely that they will give up their religion for a new one, so it is unlikely that a religion with as many followers as Christianity or Islam will disappear any time soon.

I got news for you, Christianity will be around until the end of time because it is the truth.
Most people throughout history knew their religions were tied to their nation. So they figured it would die when their nation dies. If you havent noticed something about Christianity, is it is not confined to any 1 country, it has spread globally!
Our God is eternal, therefore our religion is eternal and DOES last forever. You can last forever too if you get with the program, acknowledge him, and serve him.

When there were no more people in both religion, especially Islam because The Koran says it's the last religion on earth, then that means The End of Days.

They will last longer than you or I. By the way Judaism, Christianity, and Islam will not pass away. All three go way back and no other religions can claim that.
But, new fake religions pop up every day. Scientology, Jedi-ism are two of the newest.

The letter of the law may pass away, but the spirit will live on.
When all religious tribes and nations join and reconcile in the spirit of truth, love and charity which is the spirit of Christ, then we will all live by the "spirit of the laws" in harmony and less by the letter of the law, which is numerous. All religions and traditions will still exist, but there will be less dependence on them for political control which has corrupted them. That part will diminish. As humanity matures and we don't commit transgression in the first place, and we reconcile and repair for the damages already done, then there will be less need for laws.

these two religions will never DIE out.....especially Islam....it says in the quran that Islam will be the LAST RELIGION left till the Day of Judgement....and I like the other girl (ira a) am a strong believer of the Quran and am Muslim....Islam can and never will die out....

Sorry,I know you've already made your statement,but a religion followed by over 2.1 billion,a growth rate of 3% every year,people raising their families on it,and so on,is not going to die anytime soon.
Sorry about that.I know how much some people would love Christianity to disappear.
