Didn't think about it all day really until the nanosecond I got home and sat down..I felt guilty then, like I should apologize. But I pridefully refused, although the Holy Spirit had convicted me for a whole day or so. I hit a speed dial number on my cell phone, thinking it was my bank's phone number and guess what! It was my friend's number instead! I saw her name on the screen but could swear it said "Bank." I then apologized to her.

Has God ever done somthing like this to you, where you were being disobedient and he basically said, "Don't think so"?

I was at the abortion clinic about to get an abortion. (I wasn't a christian at that time but believed in God) and as I was about to walk into the doctors office, two friends of mine, who I haven't seen since elementary school come out of the adjoining dentist office. We started hugging, and all of a sudden I remembered their names. (This took place in Greece) The girls name was Sozo (means Save--short for Sotiria--salvation) and the man's name was Panagiotis (which means Son of Panagia (virgin mary). I was so shocked at that moment, I just turned around and went home. Now I have a gorgeous baby boy and am a Christian.

I've never had anything specifically like that happen to me, but I do believe it's possible. I have seen many "coincidences" that seem to have had the hand of God in them. So many in fact that I no longer believe in "coincidences". Just God allowing things to take place as they should.

The subconscious has often caused people to do things which later are attributed to a Divine Hand.

You spent the whole day thinking about your friend, then hit her number on speed dial. How many times had you hit that number to call her? Do you not phone people when you are thinking about them, especially if you've been thinking about them all day? If you didn't have speed dial, would you have dialed all seven digits? I doubt it.

It was an action motivated by a learned behavior and your own subconscious, and enabled by technology. God had nothing to do with it.

Nobody really uses the term "fundamentalist" except for unbelievers.

Yes, God guides and disciplines his own.

Yes, God doesn't like us to be in discord with each other. I hope things worked out alright between you and your friend!

Blessings to you!
