Growing hair longer?

Well, My mom doesnt like long hair on me, Its about 1 inch long (I AM 13) And I want to grow it longer.

Help on how to convince her?

Grow it out a bit longer, then take her to the place you get your hair cut. Make sure she agrees with the haircut, but just have it barely below your shoulders. A layered cut will also be better, because it gives you more depth rather than one length.

Say this: "Mom, I know you don't like long hair on me, but I really want longer hair. I'm the one who has to look after it and style it. You don't have to do anything."
It's your hair! Do what you want with it!!!
