I'm a petite girl... 5'3'' 110 lbs. it's not so much weight I have to loose, just inches around my stomach. I'd like to have a completely flat stomach (have a little gut now lol) so what excercises should I do to triggor those places? Lower abdomen, obliques

Thank you so much!

Do some abdominal workouts that would target your upper abs, middle abs and lower abs. I would suggest that you do abdominal crunches. See this video on how to do it

For your lower abs, you may also do reverse crunch. See this video

You may also do oblique crunches for to get rid of the fats on your sides

You will like this one for your sides if you are a lady

And of course, no matter how long you do all these core exercise, unless you watch your diet, nothing will happen. Have a balance diet with lots of greens and fibers. For about a week, minimize on carbohydrates and meats with fats. Try to have small meals, but more frequent - about 6 times a day... than 3 heavy meals a day. Consult your dietician as well.

Also, increase your cardio exercises. Dancing latin or belly dancing will do you more good to flatten those tummy. Hips girating helps strengthen your core as well. Its a good complement to crunch exercises.

One of the things you want be careful is not straining your lower back.

So the best exercise is swimming if you have a pool, if not get a thick pad and do tummy crunhers do enough so that you feel a good burn in the mid-section. Start with 20 at the end of each rep. Stand up and do some aerobics, use some low impact weights for your hands, get some ankle weights as well do aerobics for about 1-2 minutes get, and then do another set of tummy crunchers repeat this process 3 times. The idea is to work the mid section and keep a steady burn going on through out your bod burning calories, but not to exhaust or strain the body. Build up your reps and increase the time span of your aerobic low impact weight exercises.

I call it the 4 qtr work out. I do four reps of a variation of the above with some heavey weights included and get a real good sweat going. Finish with a hot shower, followed by 100 seconds of cold to revive me. Drink lots of distilled H2O with fresh lemon and a shot of pommegranate juice and don't eat anything after 6pm.

Good luck

All you have to do is toe touches, do 100 a day. (make-sure at the same time everyday) You may start to get some abs, but you can stop when you feel like you need to!
