Take pity and spay the poor thing! She will be happier and you won't be overpopulating the planet with animals.

she is old enough now. Is she big enough and healthy enough. You need to ask your vet. Then if all is ok when she goes into her next heat it will be time. the first ten days of her heat will not take. on the last ten days. breed her every other day for 6 days. Stop so she doesn't have to many pups. having to many pups can cause premature labor and you loose them all 3 pups is better than no pups.

She should be able to now, but first .When you take her to the vet, get her checked make sure she is healthy to have a litter. & get her registered.

If she is health you'll need to find a stud(costing at min 300$)Make sure he is healthy to mate.
Make plans for them to do it.
Pups are born, tons of tons of work, little if any profit.
and a ton of fun.

Please, PLEASE get her spayed! There are so many chi's out there in shelters.. You should _never_ adopt dogs from petstores and you should leave breeding to the professionals. In small breeds it is common for the puppies to get stuck in the birth cannal and it risks the mothers life. And once you breed a dog the chance of her getting cancer is Greatly raised. My dog died from cancer and it was not easy for me. I've worked in a shelter/vet clinic.. I know what I'm talking about. Please get your baby spayed and adopt a pup from a SHELTER or RESCUE GROUP.

I would say discuss this with your vet.

She might be too small to have babies.

Many chihuahuas end up having c-sections instead of natural puppybirth!

Check with your vet first!

Don't breed your dog. There's so many homeless dogs in shelters that need a chance.

You should look at this site for more help.

And you should volunteer at a shelter before you do anything else.
