ive met a couple people who didnt score high enough on the asvab to enter the military...so they took it more than once.

anyways, i dont know if theres a score u need to make to be an mp, but i know for men u have to be at least 5'8" tall.

but listen to the previous poster about considering the air force. u get taken care of WAY better than in the army.

Go talk to a recruiter. That would be the best thing for you to do. They can tell you what your scores need to be.
I just took the asvab twice (something in the paperwork was screwed up the first time), and I didn't think it was very tough. I qualified for pretty much every job in the Army. I'm pretty sure that I am going to be a Combat Medic, but I have a couple friends that are MPs and they like it a lot.
The height thing that was mentioned can't be true because my ex is 5'3'' and she's an MP.

Try asking a recruiter. He should know. It can be Active Army recruiter, Guard, or Reserve. It's been my experience that you have more luck talking to a Guard Recruiter. They are local and don't seem to want to BS you as much. Of course they all will want you to join their branch of the service. You could do a Google search too, or go to military.com. If you go to military.com get ready for a lot of emails!

Check on military.com. I believe there is a practice asvab there, plus it gives you info on what you need to score. Don't be discouraged if you don't get the first time. Alot of people have to take it twice.

How about joining the Air Force as an SP?, Better living man!!
Good luck in whatever you choose, but if that is your choice, don't sweat the ASVAB, you'll do fine!
