I need to find a organization that trains and gives trained canines to people with special needs based out of Ohio. I have never looked into getting one before so I have no clue where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Give a call over to National K-9, they are located in Columbus. I'm not sure how there programs work, but I do know they train these types of dogs. They could probably help you out or get you going in the right direction.

The Goodwill Industries in Canton, Oh has dogs trained for this purpose. You may try contacting them to see how about getting a dog from them. You can call information to get their phone number. I know they do this since they have had big write ups in the newspaper. Good luck.
