If you want to continue to straighten it, here's what I'd suggest:
Use Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Also, since you are straightening it nearly every day, once every week or two use a restorative conditioner with a cap for about 10 minutes.
Then towel dry until it is damp, comb out your tangles, and put some Rusk Str8 on. Blowdry your hair straight.
If it still needs to be straightened more, use a ceramic flat iron, hair serum, and hair spray.
If you want to tame it into nice curly hair:
Use a very heavy conditioner in the shower, but make sure it's not one that has a ton of build-up. Marc Anthony Strictly Curls in the yellow bottle is a great product. Use both the shampoo and conditioner.
Use an ionic blowdryer on the coolest setting to make your hair go from soaking wet to damp.
Use either Marc Anthony Strictly Curls curl lotion OR (not both) AG Goldwell Liquid Effects Gel. If you need to really control frizz and make your hair stay down, use the gel (it is not like normal gels, it is almost as liquid-y feeling as water). If you just need to mildly control the curls, use the curl lotion.
Finish with flexible hold hair spray.

same thing happens with me. Use shampoos and conditioners that help with frizziness I use Garnier Fructis and helps my hair a lot. Then i blow dry my hair but before I put in some leave in conditioner from Garnier Fructis and frizz ease products. Also, you can let it air dry like 50% then put it in a bun or a ponytail til your hair is dry. Then when you want to straighten it if its still wet blow dry the wet part. Then flat iron your hair with a good striaghtener make sure to use heat protectant. Then put hair/shine spray in the end to make your hair stay straight.

I had the same problem with my hair... I was told by my haircutter that, with really thick curly frizzy hair, you need natural oils in your hair. Wash it once a week, according to her. A shampoo created to treat this type of hair is nest for when you do wash it. She also reccomended a leave in conditioner, however, I have not tried that yet. The last thing she advised, which I do use, is curl creme, created by a company called "Bumble and Bumble". there are different types for different thicknesses of hair.
Hope this helps!

i reccomend sunsilk shampoo for frizzy hair. its in a green bottle. i use alot of it and it really does work. also try a hair moisturiser formula. it conditions your hair really well and it tames it. if u have thin hair you could use a anti friz serum. if u have thick hair i dont reccoment it because you will use tonns of it (i have thick hair and used alot of the stuff - cost me a fortune).
i bought a hair straightener and when i have frizzy days i just straighten my hair.. most of the frizz goes away :)
if your unsure go to your hair dresser and ask what type is best for you :)

Do you blow dry with a round brush and then use a flat iron?
Try using Avon's Anti-Frizz Capsules ($4.99 for 18 capsules) - order from www.AvonbyMarcie.com.
OR..........look at your local beauty supply company for flat iron spray, and an anti-frizz serum. They will run you more $$, but it's up to you.
Either that, or give up the fight. Go to a good stylist that you respect and have them give you a cut that will work with the "poof ball" in a positive way. Good luck to you.
