I've tried a lot of things before. Sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. I always messed with mine (and I know youre not supposed to..) to try to get all that nasty stuff outta there, then I washed my face with a face cleanser and warm water (dont scrub, just use your clean hands), then I rinsed with cold water. I would usually use a q-tip with a little rubbing alcohol on the end and dab each infected area with it. (Stings a little!) Then if I was going to bed I would dab a little toothpaste on it. Some people have said toothpaste burns their skin. I personally have never had that problem. The toothpaste didn't work every time. I just told someone else that I saw on TV not too long ago that they crushed an aspirin and mixed it with fresh lemon juice so it would turn into a paste. Then you just put it on the infected areas for a little while and rinse. The acid in the aspirin should clean it and the lemon should heal it. (I really thought it would be the opposite, but thats not what they said!) Anyways, I havent had the chance to try it yet, but they said it would work. Until then, wash your face every night and morning with a face cleanser and then use a cotton pad and go over your face with a toner. Makes your face feel really clean and fresh! Hope this helps. Best of luck with it all. Don't try anything too harsh...might make it worse.

Acne is clogged pores, try exfoliating your skin. There are several things you can do at home. Try blending oatmeal with plain yogurt and honey...gently scrub onto your face, and wash off. There are several mixtures we learned in cosmo school. If your alergic to any of foods, then don't use them...but buttermilk, strawberries, the yogurt and oatmeal I mentioned, honey....foods that tend to have a healing nature. Any food that is acidic....even grapefruits....or the juice.
Also, I have a friend that uses lava on her face. I don't necessarily recommend it. I think its too harsh, but who knows. It works for her, and it works for oily hair...lol It'll make your hair soft....this I do know.
I haven't tried the toothpaste remedy, but I don't see why it wouldn't work, its a cleanser to some effect, and does have some natural healing ingredients such as the baking soda. I'd give it a wing.....if it doesn't work, then try something else.
And one trick I used while growing up was plain old rubbing acohol. Sure it burns,...but it cleans the skin, opens up the pores. Try using a white wash clothe when you do this, you'll actually see black rub off on the clothe...its the dirt/ oil from your skin. Then go back and use a acne cream over that. Its a cheap remedy....but just make sure that the cream you use isn't for dry skin...its contains loads of oils, and you don't want a oily lotion.

Try drinking plenty of water this will rid your body of toxins and use toothpaste on your pimples. There is an ingredient in toothpaste that dries the pimple over night. Also try staying away from oily and fatty foods.
