I changed my ink cartridges tonight and now my scanner will not work. Also, a red light is flashing on it telling me to check paper but I am not trying to print. Also, there is an E where it says copies. Can anyone help or will i just throw it out of the window now? It's driving me nuts.

I have the same printer. I would suggest you try loading some paper, as when you change the ink cartridges it automatically prints out a calibration page which you should then scan in (go to the HP toolbox and click calibrate) - this enables the printer to align the jets and improves print quality. My guess would be that it is still trying to print the page and therefore cannot move on to any new instructions. Hope it works soon - keep trying, i've found it to be a fairly good printer overall.
